Q: Describe a moment this summer where you felt that you made a positive impact on the firm/project/client interaction.
A: Heading into my second year with the firm, I wanted to make sure that our class of clerks had a real sense of camaraderie and knew that we could rely on each other for assistance with projects or just any moments of uncertainty. I’m glad we were able to get together early and often to share our experiences and plan lunches or activities to do together.
Q: Share an example of something you learned this summer that could not be taught in a classroom.
A: This summer, I learned how to interact with clients by observing experienced attorneys and actively participating in the process myself. This hands-on experience, which can’t be taught in a classroom, has been one of the most educational aspects of my law school journey.
Q: In what ways will this summer play a part in your remaining law school career?
A: This summer’s exposure to a wide variety of practice areas has greatly influenced my remaining law school career. It provided valuable guidance on which classes I should take in the future and helped me identify specific practice areas I want to explore further.
