Kade Moural
Working toward a Juris Doctor and Master of Professional Accounting joint degrees at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s College of Law and School of Accounting, Kade Moural joins Fraser Stryker for his second year as a summer associate. In 2020 and 2021, Kade worked as a, corporate, audit, and tax intern, acquiring important knowledge that will assist in his future legal career.
Kade received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he majored in business administration. Kade was Beta Alpha Psi at UNL and was a member of the UNL Independent Recreational Basketball 2019 championship team.
Olivia Stanek
A student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law, Olivia Stanek acted as co-chair for the 2023 Women’s Law Caucus Auction. She is also the 2023-2024 Membership Chair for the Moot Court Executive Board. Olivia’s interest in law began in high school, spending multiple Sundays at Fraser Stryker practicing for mock trial competitions under the tutelage of attorneys Mark Laughlin and Pat Cooper.
Prior to law school, Olivia graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Communications Studies with minors in English, Spanish, Law, and Business. At UNL, Olivia was active in several organizations, including acting as University Relations Chair for the Omicron Delta Kappa Senior Honor Society and Risk Manager and Administrative Vice President for the Gamma Phi Beta sorority.
Kara Stark Smith
As a 2L law student at Creighton University School of Law, Kara Stark Smith is a Law Ambassador, Creighton Scholars Program recipient, member of the Creighton Law Review, and in the top 10% of her class. She has gained valuable experience throughout her academic career, working as an Undergraduate Legal Intern for the Lancaster County Attorney’s Office and an Intern for the White House Management Office in Washington, D.C.
Majoring in History and English, Kara received a Bachelor of Arts, high distinction, from Concordia University. Kara maintained a 4.0 GPA while starting for three years on the volleyball team. She interned at the White House (2019) and the Lancaster County Attorney’s Office (2020), was recognized as an Outstanding Student Award in History upon graduation, and was on the Term Honors List for all eligible semesters.
Heidi Strigenz
Attending Creighton University School of Law, Heidi Strigenz (she/her) is on Creighton Law Review’s Editorial Board as a Student Article Editor. She joins the Firm with experience as a 1L summer associate in 2022.
Heidi graduated from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, majoring in Political Science and Legal Studies. There, she was in the Dean’s Fellow Program, made the Dean’s List for all eligible semesters, and was on the Mock Trial team, serving as Team Captain and was awarded All Region Attorney. Heidi received the Political Science Department Faculty Achievement Award and was a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha: Political Science Honor Society and was the Vice President of Risk Management for Pi Beta Phi.
About the Summer Associate Program
The Fraser Stryker Summer Associate program is designed to provide law students with exposure to diverse, substantive legal areas, as well as the individual practice styles of various attorneys. Fraser Stryker provides our Summer Associates with real-world experience, feedback and mentoring, and time devoted to community involvement.
