Titled “The Non-Traditional Young Lawyer,” Amit Mukherjee’s article discusses the diverse backgrounds and life experiences that non-traditional students bring to law school, which can offer advantages such as practical skills, established networks, and confidence. However, these students also face challenges, including balancing academic life with work and family commitments and bridging generational gaps with younger classmates. Mukherjee emphasizes that despite these obstacles, the diverse perspectives and experiences of non-traditional students can enrich both their education and the legal profession.
