Amit Mukherjee is a dynamic attorney who has dedicated his career to advocating for justice and making a positive impact on the legal profession and his community. He uses his unique blend of legal expertise, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of his clients’ needs to achieve positive outcomes.

Prior to entering the practice of law, Amit worked for Fortune 100 companies and one of the largest healthcare companies in the world in the areas of business management, strategic planning and execution, and cross-functional team leadership. This diverse experience in combination with his effective legal and communication skills allows Amit to provide clients with thorough, strategic, and individualized legal counsel.

Amit has a well-established network of strong relationships throughout the community. A native Omahan, Amit is a graduate of Omaha Creighton Prep High School and did his undergraduate work at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, where he studied neuropsychology and philosophy. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Creighton University School of Law.

While in law school, Amit served as President of the Military Law Society, Vice President of the Wellness Society, was a member of the Jessup International Law Trial Team, the Client Counseling team, the Juvenile Justice Clinic, and was inducted into the International Legal Honor Society, Phi Delta Phi. Amit also holds a certification in Health Law from Creighton University School of Law.

An active member of the Omaha Bar Association, Amit serves as Vice-Chair of the Young Lawyers' Division and member of the Public Service Committee. He is also an active member of the Iowa Association for Justice and the Robert M. Spire American Inns of Court. Amit has served on boards for various local non-profits and volunteers as a summer camp counselor for the Nebraska Muscular Dystrophy Association for over 28 years.

When not working, Amit enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys traveling, playing basketball, watching and attending sporting events, and spending as much time as possible in and around pools, lakes, and oceans.
