Jacob Craft Joins Fraser Stryker’s Business & Corporate Practice
As a member of Fraser Stryker’s Business and Corporate team, Jacob E. Craft advises clients with tailored recommendations on complex business matters, commercial disputes, and mergers and acquisitions.
Jacob prides himself on understanding the unique business needs of his clients and creating dynamic plans to efficiently reach their goals. He believes that clear and timely communication is essential to the successful practice of law, as well as to business growth and development. As such, Jacob dedicates himself to providing clients with timely responses, concise explanations, and zealous advocacy. Formerly a judicial law clerk, Jacob is used to analyzing complex legal issues, including connecting and understanding voluminous documents and then distilling the information down into an understandable format. He has worked on a variety of business law cases from simple contract disputes to complex corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions.
Earning his J.D. and MBA simultaneously from Creighton University, Jacob understands what it takes to meet the specific needs of his clients from a legal and business perspective. Before returning to school, Jacob worked as a business professional for Utah’s largest worker’s compensation insurance company. Working with the business expansion team, he helped expand the company into a full-service multi-line insurance carrier. Jacob also managed his own book of business, partnered with third-party vendors, and served on several committees devoted to internal improvements, and community philanthropy.
Jacob is originally from Sandy, Utah, but calls Omaha home. Jacob earned his bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in constitutional studies from Utah Valley University. However, most of his undergraduate coursework was from the University of Alaska Anchorage where both he and his wife played college basketball. Jacob served a two-year mission for his church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Norway and speaks fluent Norwegian. In his spare time, Jacob spends time with his wife and daughters outside, hunting, camping, fishing, and gardening. He also enjoys woodworking, playing in sand volleyball leagues with his wife during the summer, golfing, playing basketball, and actively serving his community whenever possible.
