Kya is a 2021 graduate at Papillion-La Vista South High School with plans to attend Harvard University. She hopes to study international relations and Spanish in college, and eventually become a public defender. Kya’s extracurricular activities include Honors Academic Decathlon, Advanced Quiz Bowl, Titan Inclusive, Poetry and Spanish Clubs, DECA and volunteering as a tutor and at the Town and Country Humane Society.

About Fraser Stryker’s Diversity Scholarship Program
Started in 2006, the Fraser Stryker Diversity Scholarship program provides financial aid for college-bound students in the Omaha metro area who are interested in pursuing a career in law. Scholarship recipients are awarded $2,500 per academic school year and are given the opportunity to work a paid internship at Fraser Stryker during the summer months to further their knowledge in the legal field.
