On Friday, April 5, 2024, members of Fraser Stryker’s Tort Practice Litigation practice group received a $11,464,000 jury verdict on behalf of Plaintiffs Michael and Sharon McCartney, in a lawsuit involving a tractor-trailer/backhoe accident where Mr. McCartney lost his right leg below the knee and his left foot.
This week-long trial was held in the District Court of Webster County, Nebraska. The jury deliberated for a little over an hour before returning with a verdict in favor of the Plaintiffs.
The Plaintiffs were represented by Michael F. Coyle and Jordan W. Adam. After the trial, the pair expressed that they were, “grateful for the hard work of the jury.”
